WITH childcare leasing and sales booming, thanks to both sides of politics throwing billions of dollars at the industry and parents now returning to work en masse, Burgess Rawson has made its fourth major recruiting coup this month in Sydney.
Former Cushman & Wakefield and BresicWhitney manager Sophie Herdegen has joined the Sydney team that was recently bolstered by the arrivals of Yosh Mendis, Geoff Sinclair and Mimi Wylie.
Ms Herdegen’s core role will be working alongside the company’s Associate Director of Childcare Michael Vanstone on childcare leasing and sales.
Mr Mendis, Burgess Rawson’s Head of Agency in NSW, was delighted with the addition to the team, which happened just in time for their first portfolio auction at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday 29 March.
“We are recruiting high-quality people to keep up with the exponential growth of Burgess Rawson in both sales and leasing,” he says. “Sophie saw exactly what I did at Burgess Rawson when the opportunity to move here came about.”
Ms Herdegen, with her property management and retail leasing experience, is delighted to be joining a Tier 1 business. “Burgess Rawson is as ambitious as I am,” she says. “Its unsurpassed reputation in sales, leasing and asset management is due to the outstanding service it gives its clients.”
